In preparation for the 69th Anniversary of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, on December 10th, 2017, the Tibetan Association of Southern California will be coordinating a “Walk for Human Rights” in Santa Monica. We invite you and all of our friends at various organizations to join us in collaboration on this special day, to raise awareness about Human Rights violations around the world, especially in Tibet, China and Vietnam. Let us work together to form a “Coalition for Human Rights in Southern California” and speak out for justice, basic human rights and freedoms for all oppressed people as guaranteed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
We also invite you and your friends to join us for a Potluck Luncheon in Celebration of the 28th Anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize Awarded to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Dec. 10, at 1 PM, before the Human Rights Walk at the same venue. We encourage everyone to bring light lunch dishes or snacks to share in disposable containers.
Please forward this email to all your friends and invite them to join us for this important Human Rights Walk for Six Million Tibetans inside Tibet and all oppressed people everywhere.
